Compulsory Basic Training (CBT) will allow you to ride up to a 50cc or 125cc with L-plates as a learner (no motorways and no passengers). A Full Licence will allow you to ride anywhere you want (including motorways), without L-plates and with a passenger. The size of the motorcycle will depend on which full licence you take (A1, A2 or DAS).
