Upgrading from a Restricted A2 licence (Upgrade)

Upgrade Course

This is the Progressive Access course. If you have been riding a big bike (more than 125cc) nearly every day since passing your A2 Restricted Licence for 2 years or more, or you are now 24 or over and still have a valid Motorcycle Theory Test then we recommend an Upgrade Course which is made up of the following components:

• Mod 1 Training Session
• Mod 1 Test Session & Module 1 Motorcycle Test
• Mod 2 Test Session & Module 2 Motorcycle Test

The total cost for the course is £537.50 which includes motorcycle hire, fuel, insurance and equipment as well as test fees etc.

Upgrade Course with Theory Test

This is the Accelerated Access course. If you have been riding a big bike (more than 125cc) nearly every day since passing your A2 Restricted Licence but for less than 2 years and you are now 24 or over but do not have a valid Motorcycle Theory Test then we recommend an Upgrade Course with Theory Test which is made up of the following components:

• Motorcycle Theory Test
• Mod 1 Training Session
• Mod 1 Test Session & Module 1 Motorcycle Test
• Mod 2 Test Session & Module 2 Motorcycle Test

The total cost for the course is £572.50 which includes motorcycle hire, fuel, insurance and equipment as well as test fees etc.
