Many people take their CBT on an automatic scooter or moped, and while the law allows them to ride a geared motorcycle, common sense says that some training and practice on a geared bike makes sense before going on the road.
We offer a 2-hour conversion course to help you learn how to use the clutch and gears on a 125cc motorcycle. All the training takes place off road, and is open to anyone 17 or over that has a current CBT. If your CBT has expired we recommend re-taking your CBT on a geared motorcycle.
The cost for the course is £99.00 and this includes the cost of the motorcycle hire and the necessary equipment (£89.00 with your own bike). You will need to bring your UK full or provisional driving licence, CBT certificate, glasses or contact lenses if you wear them, jeans and boots.
