Ride to the Wall 2023

7th October 2023 saw another huge turn out for the annual Ride to the Wall.

This ride out is to pay respect to all those who have given their lives in the Armed Forces since the end of the Second World War. If you have not been to the National Memorial Arboretum near Lichfield in Staffordshire then prepared to be very moved. Not only is the setting very reflective and solemn, but also the sheer number of names on the wall. It is hard to grasp what a huge sacrifice our Armed Forces have made and make every year, particularly during a period that most of us would call “peaceful”.

Aside from the huge number of bikers, there was also a fine military band, stalls and a fly past by a Spitfire.

The ride is very well organised, and from Warwick services, where we joined – it was one continuous flow of motorbikes.

Hopefully, we’ll see some of you there next year.
