Make the most of the good weather

Owning a motorcycle means never missing a sunny day. And the good lord has seen to provide a few sunny days this Autumn.

So now is a good time to check out what is happening near you. If you’re lucky enough to live in West Oxfordshire or Gloucestershire then don’t miss TT Night (Third Thursday).

This is at the Norman Knight pub in Whichford (yer genuine Cotswolds – just). The third Thursday of the riding months see dozens of old bikes and cars, as well as a fair number of new bikes too. Set on a village green you can wander around all the bikes and cars, have a pint, pig roast and good old yarn.

It’s very informal and is very brief. Basically from 5pm until sunset – the good ol’ boys with their Bezza B25’s need to get back to the farm before the roads get too dark.
