2 Day Course – DAS (Direct Access Scheme)

This course is for very experienced riders who have already completed their CBT and subject to a free one-hour introduction to assess suitability. Both days are conducted on a motorcycle over 47bhp to get you used to handling a bigger machine. We have large training areas where we can practice full speed Module 1 manoeuvres. The course culminates in your Motorcycle Test - Module 1 on the morning of the second day and your Motorcycle Test - Module 2 in the afternoon (or on a morning three working days later - same price).

3 Day Course – DAS (Direct Access Scheme)

This is for the experienced riders only and subject to a free one-hour assessment. This course will begin with a CBT on day one, which will be conducted on a 125cc machine. Day 2 is conducted on a bike of over 47bhp, teaching you all you need to know for your Module 1 test and more. We have large training areas where we can practice full speed Module 1 manoeuvres. Day 3 begins with a mock test culminating in your Motorcycle Test - Module 1 in the morning and your Motorcycle Test - Module 2 in the afternoon (or in the morning three working days later - same price).

4 Day Course – DAS (Direct Access Scheme)

Once you have passed CBT, you may then decide to take a full licence. This course is structured to suit somebody who has taken a CBT but has only limited experience. Days 1 & 2 (Refreshers) will be taken on a 125cc bike, whilst days 3 & 4 will take place on a machine over 47bhp. We have large training areas where we can practice full speed Module 1 manoeuvres. On day 4 you will begin with a mock test, culminating in your Motorcycle Test - Module 1 in the morning and your Motorcycle Test - Module 2 in the afternoon (or on a morning three working days later - same price).

5-Day Course – DAS (Direct Access Scheme)

This course is suitable for a novice rider. The first day will be your CBT, which we like you to take one week before the start of the other four days. This is so that should you need further training on your CBT, you will have time to complete it without interfering with the rest of your course. Days 1-3 you will be training on a 125cc bike followed by days 4 & 5 being run on a machine over 47bhp. We have large training areas where we can practice full speed Module 1 manoeuvres. We will begin day 5 with a mock test, culminating in your Motorcycle Test - Module 1 in the morning and your Motorcycle Test - Module 2 in the afternoon (or on a morning three working days later - same price).

Prices include tuition, CBT, motorcycle hire, fuel, insurance and equipment.

Note: For all courses you will need to bring with you your valid UK driving/provisional licence and a passport (or other photographic ID – please ask for details) and your theory test pass certificate.

Guaranteed Pass Scheme.

All our courses offer a Guaranteed Pass Scheme, which means that if you do not pass your Motorcycle Test - Module 1 or 2, we make a priority of getting you another test as early as the law allows. Further training is done at our normal daily rate with a 30% discount. While we will do our best to get you another test as quickly as possible please bear in mind that you must wait ten working days by law before you can retake the Motorcycle Test - Module 2 and three working days for the Motorcycle Test - Module 1. 9 out 10 people who have taken a test through Lightning Motorcycle Training now hold a full licence.
